This package comes with software that allows a trader to download and chart for both stocks and commodities. It comes with 1 year of historical commodities data and historical data on 12,000 US stocks (beginning in 1988 to present) This includes Open’s, High’s, Low’s, and Volume data. The first month of Snap Quotes are free.

Basic Package

Our Money Tree Genesis Software is a software package that Larry uses himself that allows traders to download information about the markets and chart it. This basic package only downloads for commodities. The first month of Snap Quotes are free. It does not download for stocks.

This package includes:

Commitment of Traders from 1985
Public/Market Sentiment since 1985
30 years of commodity history-current to the date of order.
Continuous contract history from 1968

What are Snap Quotes?

Snap Quotes are downloads from Genesis that provide all of the trading information.

How much are they?

Snap Quotes are $45 per month for commodities only, $75 per month for commodities and stocks.

Are Snap Quotes necessary?

Information can be entered by hand but it may take awhile. We highly recommend the Snap Quotes. Think of the software as a car, and the snap quotes are the gas needed to run the car.

How will I be billed for the Snap Quotes?

If the Snap Quotes are used after the first month, the customer will by charged by Genesis Financial Data Services.

How often can Snap Quotes be downloaded?

As often as you like. It will only give you the open, high, low, and the last trade so far. The nightly downloads will give you all the complete information for that day. You can download as often as you want daily.

Can this be returned?

This product is nonrefundable. Due to technological advances it is now possible to copy CD’s so we do not allow returns.

No, the user must download it.

Is technical support service available?

Yes, from 7am to 8 pm Monday through Friday.

Is it possible to compare spreads and contracts?

Yes, they will receive all the current trading contracts. Some markets trade out to the year 2009.

Does the software download automatically for me?

No, the customer has to actually open their internet service browser, open the software and click on the button that says, "Download".

What is Navigator?

Navigator is the software; The Batting .800 program is just a version of Navigator.

The next time the customer downloads information their charts will be updated.

I have Future Link; will this accept my Future Link information?

No, this software does not accept downloads from other companies.

What is the difference between Future Link and Genesis?

Future Link doesn’t have Commitment of Traders Report, Market sentiment; Genesis is about half the cost of Future Link.

MetaStock?

MetaStock can use Genesis Data feed, but you will not get the C.O.T. or the public sentiment. You will only get the end of the day futures.

Can I fix bad data?

Yes. Genesis corrects bad data and puts it into a "fix" file, it will be corrected the next time you download your data.

How do I download?

Connect to the Internet and minimize the Internet. Run Genesis software, click on download, and that’s all. You can download through a telephone line, but it is a long distance call. Each nightly download is less than 30 seconds w/ a 28.8K modem.

Can you download by cell phone?

You can if you have a modem that is compatible with your cell phone.

How many computers can I install the program on?

Although the program can be installed on several computers, it can only download to the computer that originally installed it.

No, this software is for futures only because Larry doesn’t trade options.
